Our Story.
To start at the very beginning…this ministry started in the hearts of a husband and wife in Cleveland, Ohio decades ago. They chose to retire early and become “missionaries to missionaries”, traveled the globe for 20 years and encouraged countless individuals and ministry teams in hopes of keeping them healthy and on the mission field as long as possible. They brought a “hands-on” approach to their work and provided everything from home repairs to meal preparation…leading bible studies to providing childcare. When they retired this ministry sat dormant for a while until their grandson (our founder) started to sense the Holy Spirit leading him towards something similar. Jonny had been working in local church ministry and was seeing more and more burnout in his peers and felt God telling him to GO to those that need help in the same way his grandparents did. So, in 2024 “Steady Hands” took on a life of its own and we have been able to serve, encourage and partner with about 20 pastors and local churches this far.
